I know how much fitness plays a role in elite sport – you can’t compete at your best if you’re not following a healthy lifestyle. But it’s not that different for everyone at an everyday level. A healthier lifestyle means we all perform better. So, let’s set ourselves this challenge – start exercising a little more, play sport, eat better, cut down on the junk food. We can all do something, so kids, get mum and dad involved and go for a walk or bowl a few overs in the backyard. And parents, set the example for your children. It starts at home.
